I Pass by in Silence(1 / 2)
John Cre
I talk to the birds as they sg ithe orn,
The rks and the sparrows that sprg fro the rn,
The chaffd l that sgthe bh,
Till the zephyr-like breezes all bidto hh;
Then silent I go andfancy I steal
A kiss fro the lips of a na I nceal;
But should I et her Ive cherished for years,
I pass bysilence,fondness and tears.
Yes, I pass hersilend say not a word,
And the noise of y footsteps ay scarcely be heard;
I scarcely presu to cast on her y eye,
And then for a week I do nothg but sigh.
